Compression Sleeves by Normatec

When balanced compression is applied to certain parts of the body, blood flow is accelerated. This provides muscles with an increase in oxygen and improved flushing of lactic acid and other metabolic waste. The end result is faster muscle repair, decreased delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS) and increased overall muscle performance. Most ART sessions will include targeted compression therapy (legs, hips, or arms) for ultimate recovery.

Tissue Floss

Tissue Flossing (RockFloss, Voodoo Floss, etc.) is a method of soft tissue mobilization that utilizes a 2” or 4” wide latex rubber band wrapped tightly around a targeted muscle or joint for a short period of time. In addition to all the above described benefits of compression, the floss band allows for activation and stretching of the targeted muscle while compressed to provide fascial shearing, or separation of the tissues for greater range of motion.
